BASIC TEMPLATE:cnate | facts of life. ▪ Being the middle child isn't always the easiest thing to be, but for Michaela it was easy as pie. The oldest got the brunt of most things that happened or didn't happen and the baby of the family was cuddled and spoiled. In the end it left Michaela free to do whatever she wanted for the most part, which in Michaela's eyes was awesome sauce. ▪ She kept good grades through school and was active in cheer-leading, choir and track. Michaela has always been one to try and keep busy and if she had a free night and wasn't out with friends, she'd be home coming up with projects around the house or just helping her parents in general. ▪ She loves being outdoors; fishing, sunbathing, jogging on the beach, she enjoys it all. ▪ She absolutely adores her dog, Nala. She'd be absolutely lost without her. She's had her since she was a puppy and Michaela pretty much takes her everywhere she goes. ▪ Loves all types of food, but her favorite is good ol southern food. It makes her work out a lot harder to keep her figure, but it's a good price to pay for good greasy food! ▪ Has had her heart broken a few times and with that has a very guarded heart. ▪ Enjoys all different genres of music, but her favorite is country, though an occasional rock day isn't out of the question. She tends to sing or hum everywhere she goes, but no one has ever heard any of her original music she's ever written. She likes to keep it tucked away just for herself. ▪ Loves burning candles all over her home. She's a great candidate for Bath & Body Works. ▪ Has a secret love for photography, but has never gone through any schooling for it. Don't be surprised though if you see her out with a camera around her neck. ▪ While she loves Horror movies, she has to be in the mood for that type of thing. Most of the time it's all about lovey dovey movies and a good comedy. Jeff Dunham is her favorite comedian. ▪ Has a mild obsession with anything peppermint or mint related. Ice cream, candy, cookies - you name it and she's game to try it. Never get in the way of a woman and her sweets! ▪ Loves to read. Her Kindle is her best friend and she doesn't think twice about snuggling on the couch on her days off and reading the day away. ▪ Would be lost without her iPhone. It's in her hand or pocket at all times. ▪ Has a serious shoe fetish. ▪ Has a huge celeb crush on Leo DiCaprio and isn't afraid to admit it. biography. When Beverly saw that the pregnancy test showed positive she was shocked. It'd just been a year since the first child of the Crawford home was born. The last thing she was expecting was to be pregnant again, but the Crawford's were excited and welcomed Michaela into the world July 25th, 1986. Michaela was the opposite of her older sibling. She rarely cried, and was usually always happy unless she was asleep. This helped her mother a lot, seeing as she was a stay at home mom while the kids were little. As Michaela got older, her personality really showed through. She always got along with her older sibling and anytime other family members came around with their children, Michaela was right there to play and share anything she had. Once she got into school, her demeanor didn't change. If anything, school only fueled her bubbly little personality. It was easy for her to make friends and the teachers always told Bev how incredible her little girl was to the kids struggling to make friends. This demeanor carried over into high school as well and Michaela took it upon herself to keep herself busy with extracurricular activities as much as possible. Outside of school, Michaela could be found out enjoying life with friends or at home helping as much as possible around the house - especially when the youngest of the Crawford family graced the world. Michaela was quick to help babysit the little one so her parents could get away for a little while. She enjoyed teaching her younger sibling new things and was always super excited to showcase what she taught them to her parents. When she wasn't helping around the house or with the little one, Michaela would spend as much time with her father as possible, even if it meant hanging out in the garage wrenching on the family vehicle or going fishing with him. Any time she could spend with him alone, she was taking advantage of it. She was definitely not afraid to get her hands dirty at all, and the two of them tended to do something outside any chance they got. It would be in Michaela's junior year of high school that she would fall in love for the first time. Now, most people would say at that age a girl couldn't know what real love was, but for Michaela she knew. Ben Porter was one of the most popular guys in school and while his popularity got him everything, his personality was one of the sweetest Michaela had ever witnessed. They had a lot of classes together and after getting together for a project, Ben and Michaela really hit it off and soon found their relationship taking on a deeper meaning. Their relationship flourished and both of their parents seemed to love the other which made Ben and Michaela happy. Holidays were spent with both sides of the family and for a while Michaela really thought she could see herself marrying him one day. That was until the summer after they graduated High School. Their lives were going in different directions and Ben felt it best to part ways because he didn't want the stress of a long distance relationship. Michaela's heart was broken and while she still keeps in contact with him, she's happy to know he's found someone new and he's happy. When Michaela started applying for colleges she really wasn't sure what she wanted to pursue. She always enjoyed photography, but never thought of it as a career. She enjoyed singing, but again couldn't see it as a career. With the frustration looming over her, Michaela decided to take a year off of schooling and decided to travel. Since her father was a Marine, she was used to traveling but never went overseas and decided now was great time to experience it. Her first stop was Italy. Michaela had always loved the pictures of Paris and various other places and wanted to travel there first. She stayed for well over a year, getting a couple jobs at restaurants to help with rent. It was there that she met Braxton. They had a mutual love for photography and bonded over that. She left before they ever got a chance to see where things could go, but she thinks of him often - especially when she's out shooting with her camera. After a phone call from her mom making her realize that she needed to get a degree in something, Michaela decided she was happier traveling. She left her home in Italy and traveled to London; the second place she'd always wanted to see and instantly fell in love with everything it had to offer. She quickly found a job at a flower shop and has been there ever since and has been more than happy with her decision. Her parents weren't the happiest, but in the end as long as Michaela was happy that was all they wanted for her. They've yet to travel over to visit, but there has been talk that one day soon they will. When she isn't working, Michaela loves to work out. She enjoys Zumba and Yoga and loves to walk in the park. Winter time, Michaela tends to devote a lot of time to her fireplace, fuzzy blanket and her Kindle, but doesn't make a point to turn into a hermit. She loves to go out with friends dancing or shopping. She misses her family, but regular phone calls and Skype sessions tend to help the loneliness pass until she either travels back home or her parents travel to London which hasn't happened, but hopefully soon. |
